DESCRIPTION

First and basic model for producing Nitrogen Gas which requires only compressed air in order to produce Nitrogen Gas at a desired flow. Nitrogen is produced by PSA technology in the twin tower bed filled with molecular sieve.

It simply works on the process called “PRESSURE SWING ADSORPTION” (PSA).

A typical representation for the plant is shown in the figure below.

Nitrogen is generated on site from atmospheric air by installing a Captive PSA (Pressure Swing Adsorption) Generator. Air is compressed and cleaned off suspended particles. This air is passed through column of molecular sieve to adsorb oxygen and deliver high purity Nitrogen at outlet. This is a twin tower system. Where one tower is in adsorption mode, other one is in re-generation mode.
